What do you think? I got my new Crate & Barrel catalog and fell in love with these pieces...Ive been looking for a bar set, but have been hesitating because I have no clue where to put it and I think I found a place...in the living room, closer to the kitchen under the stair rail, if that makes sense, I will just push my china cabinet back a bit and get rid of the sofa table in the entrance and replace with the bench set. What do you think?
Ok excuse the quality of the picture, I thought taking a picture on my phone would be easier. Here is my cabinet and I would want the bar to the left of it....I would move the cabinet more to the right. The bar IS only 35 inches....so its not huge. What do you think...nah or ya? I dont know.
Here is the whole wall....over to the right is the sofa table and I would get rid of that and put that bench set there and that is smaller and so the cabinet moving over wouldn't be too big a deal. So the whole wall would have 3 pieces on it. Honestly speaking, I was always discontented with the bare wall to the left of the cabinet. Help me please. ***oh and take a gander at that stair railing.....soon it will be the color of my furniture! I had a "wood guy" come and give me an estimate on restaining my whole kitchen and stair railing and he gave us a killer deal, too good to pass up! So that will be happening! Yay!

Gosh Trish, I am such a visual person, I am trying to picture it, kinda can, but until you get the piece, I have no thoughts on it...except that it is really nice!!~
ReplyDeleteJust to clarify my post.....linkie parties are great, however, my point was.....they really do not necessarily bring you comments or followers. In fact I hardly get any. Yes you and I did meet on the follow back thing...you are one of the ones I was thinking of, that and two other gals visit eachother:) Other than that I do not see those gals. It was just for numbers and I was new, I did not know any better. Do you follow Tawny? You and her have a lot in common. She does not post often but when she does I love to see her pics and her kids.

ReplyDeleteya I did that too, just for numbers for a while and then it got really hard to keep up with all my "blogs" and I ended up weeding out blogs that I never read! eek!
So a no on even small linkie parties? hmm....cuz I did get that you were disappointed with the bigger ones. Eww I just said "cuz", but Im too lazy to go back and erase it, Id rather push even more buttons and write this explination! hmmph. haha

ReplyDeleteHi Trish, glad I came back to this post. Let me clarify...I would most definitely join a linkie party. Just find the ones you really like and feel are more interacting...that was my point I had to pick and choose which worked for me. Sometimes the big ones do work, it really is all personal choices. Sorry to confuse you. When Tawny posts I will let you know, she does not that often anymore she is a school teacher.
