Permanent Make Up

What do you all think of permanent make up? Im thinking of doing it! For my eyeliner only. I wear eyeliner every day and unless you go to the gym with me or are a good friend of mine, or my husband and kids, you will not see me with out eyeliner/make up. Doing your eyeliner well takes time....and I use liquid. So this is just a thought has any one had permanent make up? What were your experiences?

I was reading up on it and saw that you can even get permanent blush! I know you can get eyebrows and lipstick, but I never knew about blush. That seems weird to me. I have a few concerns about the eyeliner...not serious concerns. Ok...this is my concern about the blush too, not that I would get blush, but with the eyeliner, is it going to appear faded after you put your eyeshadow on? Like if you just wear a base color for the day, will the light powder make it appear faded. What about concealer...most of us wear concealer, will that "conceal" the liner? Those are my thoughts on the blush too...wont putting your powder or foundation over it hide it? Hmm...and if you wear no make up to places....which for me would only be the gym, would I look like a freak? I would think.

I was also reading to be careful where you get it. The recommended place is a plastic surgeons office. On your eyebrows and eyeliner, if they make a mistake and you need to laser it off, it could most possibly take your brows and lashes off with it! Then if there is a mistake with your blush or lipstick and you need to fix it, the flesh colored ink can turn black with laser removal! Yikes! This is a big thing, and I think may have just talked myself out of it, unless someone totally has the most awesome thing to say about it that I just cant help but not get it!

  2. I had it done last year- eyebrows and eyeliner. I didnt even wear eyeliner back then- but the lady talked me into it, and did it on the inside of my lids. I LOVED the look- it was subtle and made my eyelashes look super thick! Not going to lie- it hurt- and took a long time because its really hard o keep your eyes open with a loud needle coming at you! And after- my eyelids puffed up for about a week- looked horrible and itches because they peel. It looks great- but mine is really faded and I still wear eyeliner and apply it myself everyday. I never went in for the 2nd appt- justdidnt want to go thru that pain again!

  3. So both my mom AND grandma have done the eyeliner. My grams actually got it first. The love it! I know my moms doesn't wear concealer but she does use some cream eyeshadow and you can still see the liner through that.

  7. I was thinking I'd look into the "eyebrow" treatment until you mentioned the mistakes and laser at the end. Ugh!
But, sounds like a minor thing if you get a good person to do it.
Let us know what you decide! :)
